Kissimmee Kreatures News Release
LAKELAND, Fla. â The Kissimmee Kreatures and Head Coach Marquette Smith announced today the signing of two new officially contracted players.
The Kreatures came to terms with former Washington Redskin's Running Back Lafann Williams and Quarterback James Thomson.
Lafann played two years at University of Pittsburgh and one year at the University of South Florida. Mr. Williams is an all around player who will be a value to the Kreatures on both sides of the ball. He's extremely quick and has an expertise in making opposing tacklers miss. Lafann has also played corner, safety, and receiver during the course of his college and professional career. LaFann was recruited by Quarterback soignée James Thomson.
James is a local Star who played at Dr. Phillip's High School. James performed extremely well in the tryout camps. He caught the eye of every Kreature coach by his performance and leadership qualities. James played college ball at the College of the Canyons in L.A., California. James and LaFann met while in the CFL playing in Calgary with the Stampeders.
