Kost joins staff

Vice President and General Manager, Tony Torre announced today that Carmelita L. Kost has joined the New Jersey Cardinals as the Director of Finance. Kost begins her duties immediately.

Most recently, Carmelita was the Accounting Assistant for the Mountain Creek Resort in Vernon, New Jersey. She also has worked in the accounting departments for Sparta Medical Asscoiates, Newton Housing Authority, and the Borough of Hamburg. Kost earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, with a major in accounting from the University of the East, Philippines. A 17-year resident of Hamburg, New Jersey, Carmelita lives with her husband Michael and two children (Daniel 16 & Isabablle 14), both currently enrolled in Wallkill Valley High School.

Kost replaces the former Director of Finance, Jeff Marsden, who returned to the Wilmington Blue Rocks (Kansas City Royals Carolina League A) after 18 months with the Cardinals organization.
