Indiana AlleyCats News Release
Anderson, IN (January 25, 2007) - The CBA announced earlier this week that Indiana Alley Cats head coach Carlos Knox narrowly missed out on an opportunity to coach the American Conference All-Star team. After leading his team to a five quarter point victory on Sunday over the league-leading Yakama Sun Kings, Knox closed to with .42 quarter points per game of being named the All-Star coach. Michael Ray Richardson, of the Albany Patroons, was named the head coach of the American Conference. The All-Star game will be hosted by Butte on Tuesday, February 6th at 9:15 EST.
Knox, in his first season as head coach of the Alley Cats, has done an outstanding job in leading them to a 14-9 start. With only one game remaining until the halfway point of the season, Indiana has a chance to finish the first half of the season ten games over .500 and right in the thick of the American Conference race.
The Alley Cats will host the Butte Daredevils this weekend. The games are scheduled for Saturday at 7:00 and Sunday afternoon at 3:00. Indiana Alley Cats season tickets and single game tickets are currently on sale. Please contact the Alley Cats office at (765) 608-3838 or visit their website at http://www.indyalleycats.com for more details.
