Utah Eagles Dispersal Draft results announced

ALBANY, NY (January 25, 2007) - The Continental Basketball Association today announced the results of the Utah Eagles Dispersal Draft held via teleconference call from the CBA League Office.

In accordance with Continental Basketball Association rules, all remaining Utah Eagles players on the team roster as of their final game (Wednesday, March 24, 2007) were subjected to a dispersal draft. The seven remaining CBA franchises then picked the remaining players on the Eagles roster. The draft order was determined by lottery.

The results are as follows:

FIRST ROUND

1. Minot Skyrockets - traded pick to Butte Daredevils for a 2nd round pick in the 2007 CBA College Entry Draft

With that pick, Butte selected John Millsap (6'6", 220 forward, Texas-San Antonio).

2. Yakama Sun Kings - PASS

3. Great Falls Explorers - Harold Arceneaux (6'6", 240 forward, Weber State)

4. Indiana Alley Cats - PASS

5. Butte Daredevils - PASS

6. Albany Patroons - PASS

7. Pittsburgh Xplosion - PASS

SECOND ROUND

1. Minot Skyrockets - PASS

2. Yakama Sun Kings - PASS

3. Great Falls Explorers - PASS

4. Indiana Alley Cats - PASS

5. Butte Daredevils - PASS

6. Albany Patroons - PASS

7. Pittsburgh Xplosion - PASS

By league rules, after every team in a single round has passed, all remaining Utah Eagles players were declared free agents and are free to sign with any CBA club. Utah Eagles who are now free agents are:

Evric Gray (6'7" 225 forward, UNLV)

Mike Hall (6'3", 198 guard, BYU)

Darnell Jones (6'4", 225 guard, Mesa State, rookie)

Josh Nigut (6'10", 265 center, Northern Colorado)

Julius Nwosu (6'10", 260 center, Liberty)

Bernard Rock (5'10", 175 guard, Utah State)

Matt Vaughn (6'0", 190 guard, California Christian)
