Key Transactions

Since the Pride's Challenge Cup clash with NJ/NY Gotham FC, the Club has added FIFA World Cup Champion midfielder Allie Long from OL Reign and French international Gaëtane Thiney on loan from Paris FC through the remainder of the NWSL season. In addition, the New Jersey-based side added its third overall draft pick in UNC alumna Brianna Pinto, who signed a two-year deal.

Gotham currently sits in fourth place in the league table with a record of 2-1-1. Most recently, Gotham took on OL Reign at Red Bull Arena. Pride fans may remember the team's largest NWSL victory came against NJ/NY Gotham FC, then Sky Blue, in Orlando with a score of 5-0 in 2017. Alex Morgan tallied two goals that game, with an assist from Marta. Then Morgan returned the favor, assisting Marta on one of her two goals. This match served as the only time two Pride players have scored multiple goals in a single game.
