Orlando City SC News Release

Key Transactions

In very FC Dallas fashion, the club has signed three homegrowns and two SuperDraft picks in 2019 sticking with their youth development strategy. Bryan Acosta is a notable signing from the offseason for Dallas. He was acquired from Tenerife and is second in shots for the club and fifth in shots on target.

Who's Hot?

Jesus Ferreira and Dominique Badji lead Dallas in goals with six apiece. Interestingly, defenders Ryan Hollingshead and Reto Zeigler are just behind Ferreira and Badji in goal production so set-piece defending will be important for City when the Dallas' defenders come forward. In the assist department, Michael Barrios leads the team with eight.

Team Form

Dallas are 2-2-1 in their last five in league play. They were held scoreless in both losses and draws during that stretch.

Head-to-Head

Dallas historically has been a very tough game for City. The Lions have never scored against the Texas side and have only picked up one point in a 0-0 draw back in 2017 at the then-named Orlando City Stadium.

Rasmussen College Fun Fact

This could be Tesho Akindele's first time facing his former club. Akindele spent five seasons with Dallas playing in 133 games and scoring 24 times.
