Klamath Falls, OR: The Klamath Falls Gems fell 7-6 to the Corvallis Knights in the last series of the year in the 2013 season at Kiger Stadium on Friday night. Peter Maris (UC Santa Barbara) and Cole Trezek (Loyola Marymount) paced the Gems offense with two hits and an RBI each in the losing effort.
The Gems dropped their 4th straight game, falling to 25-27 on the year. Corvallis improved to a league leading 35-17 with their 7th straight victory. The Gems Angelo Lingos (UC Riverside) took the loss, falling to 2-6 overall. Alex Nesbitt (University of Washington) stayed perfect (2-0) with the relief win for the Knights.
