
Knights Sign PLU Shortstop Hall to 10-day Contract

The Corvallis Knights of the West Coast League have signed Pacific Lutheran University shortstop Nicholas Hall to a 10-day contract for the upcoming season, general manager Brooke Knight announced Thursday.
Hall is a 5-foot-10, 165-pound freshman from Ashland who played at Ashland High School. He was a first-team 5A all-state selection in 2010 and a second-team choice in 2009.
Hall is hitting .231 (15-65) with no homers and seven RBIs in 21 games for PLU this season, with 20 starts.
The Knights open their season at Walla Walla on June 3.Their home opener is June 7 against Klamath Falls at Goss Stadium.
