
Knights Sign LBCC's McDaniel to 10-Day Contract

Linn-Benton Community College sophomore relief pitcher Jordan McDaniel has signed a 10-day contract with the Corvallis Knights, coach Brooke Knight announced Thursday.
He is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound right-hander from Estacada. McDaniel is 4-0, 2.94 in six games this season, with 15 strikeouts in 181. Innings.
Players are signed to 10-day contracts to add depth early in the season, before all the full-time signees report. They can be retained as full-time players.
Corvallis is the two-time defending WCL champions. The Knights open the season against the Portland Sea Dogs on May 30 in their annual Science, Engineering and Art Day at Goss Stadium. They open the WCL season at Kelona on June 6; their WCL home opener is June 12 against Wenatchee.
