Knights Announce Updated 2007 Schedule

Battle Creek, Michigan- The Battle Creek Knights open up on the road their first game of the 2007 season vs. the 2006 IBL Regular Season Co-Champions, the Marysville Meteors, in Marysville, Ohio. The Battle Creek Knights return home to open up their third season of IBL basketball action at Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek, Michigan, on Thursday, April 5th, at 7:15 p.m., vs. the Holland Blast.
The Knights are pleased to announce an additional home contest vs. the Grand Rapids Flight on Friday, May 11th, at Kellogg Arena. The game opponent was originally the Chicago Height Soldiers. "It is great for our fans that the IBL would schedule another home game vs. our adversary from the north, the Grand Rapids Flight," said David Darkey, Battle Creek Knights general manager. Other highlights on the home schedule include two match ups with 2006 IBL Playoff Champions, the Elkhart Express, on Thursday, April 26th, and Saturday, May 12th. The Knights will close out their home portion of the 07 schedule on Saturday, June 23rd, with our closest arch rival, the Grand Rapids Flight. All home games start at 7:15 p.m.
