Knighthawks to Support UAR with Jersey Auction

The Rochester Knighthawks are again partnering with the Urology Associates of Rochester to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer. The team will hold an auction at The Blue Cross Arena on Saturday, March 8th as part of the fundraising efforts to benefit Zero - The Project to End Prostate Cancer and The Lipson Cancer Center at Rochester General.

"We are proud to again support UAR's efforts to raise awareness for men's prostate cancer during our annual Men's Health Night," said Knighthawks President Lewis Staats. "We hope our fans will join us in our efforts by generously bidding on special jerseys the team will be wearing to shed light on a disease that affects one in every six men."

The Knighthawks will wear special Mardi Gras jerseys on Men's Health Night, as they host the Philadelphia Wings that night at 7:30 p.m. The Knighthawks will hold an in-arena auction for the game-worn, individually signed jerseys. Fans with the winning bids will receive their jersey or jerseys directly off the players' backs, following the game.
