Knighthawks Make Two Moves During Bye Week

(Rochester, March 15)... The Rochester Knighthawks announced that forward Alex "Kedoh" Hill has been signed to a two-year deal and added to the team's 23-man active roster. In a related move, the Knighthawks moved forward Tim O'Brien to the practice squad, pending league approval.
Hill, 21, returns to the active roster where he has been most of the season. The Six Nations product has registered two goals and one assist in two games with Rochester. Hill arrived in Rochester this season after being acquired by the Knighthawks in a trade with the Edmonton Rush. The forward was originally Edmonton's third-round selection (29th overall) in the 2010 NLL Entry Draft. In 2011, he finished his rookie season with five goals and six assists in nine games.
O'Brien, 35, returns to the practice squad after playing in the team's last two games. The NLL tough guy was signed by the Knighthawks as a free agent back in December. The 6-2, 235-pounder is in his ninth season of professional lacrosse and has won two Champion's Cup with the Toronto Rock (2005 and 2011). O'Brien's career has also taken him to the New York Saints, Albany Attack, Orlando Titans and Rochester Knighthawks.
The Knighthawks, who sit in second place in the East Division, have a bye weekend before resuming their current homestand. Rochester returns to action on Saturday, March 24th, when they host the defending champion Toronto Rock at 7:30 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.
