Knighthawks' Jamieson Named An NLL All-Pro

Cody Jamieson was named a National Lacrosse League Second Team All-Pro today for the first time in his career.This season, the second-year pro was named the Knighthawks' MVP after leading Rochester in goals (36), assists (49) and points (85).
In the postseason, Jamieson is second on the Knighthawks with nine points in two games. He was named a starter for the East Division All-Star team and had six points (2+4). He has a 32-game regular season point streak dating back to last season. The Six Nations star played his college lacrosse at Syracuse University, and was the first overall pick in the 2010 NLL Entry Draft.
"It's an honor that I will reflect upon after this week is over," said Jamieson about his All-Pro selection. "These awards are accomplished by having great teammates, and my teammates and I are focused on a different award at the moment."
The Knighthawks will host the Edmonton Rush in the 2012 Champion's Cup Finals on Saturday, May 19th at 7:30 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena. The game will be televised live on CBS Sports Network, which is available on Time Warner Cable Channel 232 and 1027 in HD. The game will be carried on Sportsradio 950 ESPN and www.sportsradio950espn.com.
