"A Night for Casey's Fight" Fundraiser

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Knighthawks Krew, Rochester Knighthawks and the Rochester Knightingales dance team are holding a fundraising evening at Nathaniel's Pub at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7th 2006. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Casey Zaph Fund.

All festivities begin at 8:00 p.m. at the restaurant located at 251 Exchange Blvd. The itinerary includes the live television coverage of the Knighthawks' season opener at Colorado at 9:00 p.m., Knightingales' autographs, and a game-day atmosphere with beads, cheers and fans. Kids in attendance will receive a prize from the Knighthawks Krew.

The Rochester Knighthawks kick off their 12th season against the Colorado Mammoth at the Pepsi Center. The fundraising events will go on all night throughout the game broadcast. For more information or to make a donation, please call 355-4349 or go to www.areyoukrew.com.

The money from the night will go directly to Casey and his family to cover medical care and related family expenses. Zaph played defense for the Rochester Knighthawks from 1999-2005. The 30-year-old husband, and father of two, is recovering from bleeding in the brain. Zaph was hospitalized on June 7th when he collapsed at his doctor's office after experiencing headaches. He is currently recovering at home with his family and beginning the long road back to recovery.
