Knighthawks Host Buffalo in Preseason Game Saturday

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Knighthawks will battle their thruway rival, the Buffalo Bandits, on Saturday, December 14th at The Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial.

The National Lacrosse League preseason exhibition game is a 7:00 p.m. start and features two of the Central Division's top teams. The K-Hawks will hold a shoot around from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the contest. Free general admission tickets are available at the Rochester Knighthawks' Office.

The Rochester Knighthawks will practice Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Total Sports Experience at 880 Elmgrove Road in Gates.

The Knighthawks enter their ninth season, following a 13-3 finish last year and a trip to the NLL Semifinals against the Albany Attack. Rochester has advanced to the postseason in the previous eight seasons and won the 1997 Major Indoor Lacrosse League title.

The Knighthawks open the 2002-03 season at home on Saturday, December 28th at 7:35 p.m. against the New Jersey Storm. Individual and season tickets are available by calling (585) 454-5335.
