Moose Jaw Warriors News Release
The Moose Jaw Warriors coaching staff is pleased to announce that 19 year old Jordan Knackstedt and 20 year old Frazer McLaren have been named Alternate Captains for the remainder of the 2007-08 season.
"We are very pleased in the direction our team is in at this time," stated Warriors Head Coach Dave Hunchak. "Both Frazer and Jordan have demonstrated leadership qualities both on and off the ice."
"Rene and I were patient in naming our other alternates," Hunchak added. "We feel that we have a very strong leadership group that includes not only these four individuals, but other players as well."
Knackstedt, McLaren and the rest of the Tribe will head to Alberta this weekend to take on the Calgary Hitmen Saturday December 8th and the Lethbridge Hurricanes Sunday December 9th. Join the voice of the Warriors James Gallo on 800 CHAB for both of this weekend's away games. The Warriors next home game will be Tuesday December 11th vs. the Kelowna Rockets for Raincheck Night. For tickets call the Warriors office at 694-5711 or visit their downtown office at 422 Main St.
