
KiXX host Blast Saturday

Philadelphia, PA, January 18, 2008 - The defending Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Champion Philadelphia KiXX will host the Baltimore Blast on Saturday, January 19 at the Wachovia Spectrum. The game will be webcast live on www.wmssfm.com at 7:05pm ET. The first 2,500 fans under the age of 14 in attendance will receive a John Barry Nusum Bobble Head courtesy of EwingCole.
The KiXX and Blast have played twice this season, with each club winning the home game. In the season opener on October 19, Baltimore held Philly to just one goal from Ptah Myers, while Blast rookie Michael Todd scored two goals in his debut. On January 5 at the Spectrum, Peter Pappas shut the Blast out, 4-0, the first KiXX shutout in four years and the first shut out for Baltimore in the club's 15-year history. Going into action on Friday, January 18, both Baltimore and Philadelphia sat four games back of first-place Milwaukee in the MISL standings.
The KiXX will travel to Orlando to face the expansion Sharks on Friday, January 25 at 8:00pm ET. The game will be televised live on the Fox Soccer Channel. Philadelphia will host the New Jersey Ironmen on Sunday, January 27 at 4:05pm ET for Boy Scout Night.
Philadelphia KiXX season tickets, 6-PaXX mini-plans are on sale now by calling the club's ticket office at 1-888-888-KiXX (5499). Season ticket holders will receive replica championship rings, as well as invitations to KiXX events like the Meet the Team Party and Meet the Team Luncheon. Single-game tickets are now available through the KiXX and the Wachovia Center Box Office, online at www.comcasttix.com, and at select Acme Market locations in PA and NJ.
