
Kinsler to Rehab with RoughRiders

FRISCO, TEXAS (JUNE 12, 2013) - Texas Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler will rehab with the Frisco RoughRiders for at least three games, beginning on Thursday, June 14 against the Corpus Christi Hooks. Kinsler has been on the 15-day disabled list since May 19 with a right intercostal strain.
Tickets are still available for the games on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. All three games are scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Fans may purchase tickets at the Dr Pepper Ballpark box office, by calling (972) 334-1900 or by visiting www.RidersBaseball.com.
Kinsler was having a fine season before landing on the D.L., batting .302 with 11 doubles, seven home runs and 20 RBI in 40 games. The All-Star second baseman played in 71 games for Frisco in 2004, hitting .300 with 21 doubles, a triple, nine home runs and 46 RBI. He rehabbed with the RoughRiders during the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
The RoughRiders are currently on a season-long 12-game home stand and are in the midst of a crucial series against the Corpus Christi Hooks. The teams entered the series separated by just two games in the Texas League South Division with less than a week remaining in the season's first half.
