LUBBOCK – The Lubbock Cotton Kings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kirk Tomlinson announced today the release of defenseman Josh Reed.

"Josh's grandfather died and he wanted to be close to his family," said Tomlinson. "He wanted to spend time with them and also finish his school work. We are sad to see him go and wish him well."

Reed left the squad last week after scoring one goal in two games with the Kings.

Season tickets for the coveted gold level are still available by calling 747-PUCK(7825). Single game seats are also on sale.
