Kilome Goes Four Scoreless in Sens' 5-1 Loss

The Altoona Curve struck for four runs in the second inning and cruised to a 5-1 win over the Senators Friday night at FNB Field. Evan Lee started for the Senators and took the loss, allowing the runs in the second inning. Harrisburg tallied their lone run on a second inning home run by Jack Dunn. The Senators had a chance to score first putting runners at second and third with one in the first inning but failed to capitalize on the opportunity.

Evan Lee went five innings in his first start since May 14. He allowed four earned runs on ten hits. He also struck out six and didn't walk a batter. He struck out the final two batters he faced in the game. Franklyn Kilome came on and finished the game, going the final four innings. He struck out five and walked one and allowed just four hits in his four innings of work.

Drew Millas had two hits including a first inning double. Harrisburg stranded nine runners on base and went oh-for-seven with runners in scoring position. They stranded five runners in scoring position with two outs.

The loss was the Sens sixth straight while Altoona won their fifth straight. The Senators committed two errors in the game for the first time since Friday, April 22 when they committed two errors against Reading.
