
Killer Bees Drop Second in a Row with 2-0 Loss to Brahmas

North Richland Hills --- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees dropped their second game in a row in a 2-0 loss to the Texas Brahmas on Tuesday night at the Nytex Sports Centre.
After two periods of scoreless hockey, Scott Sheppard finally broke through at the 6:15 mark of the third for his as team-leading 10th goal of the season. Texas made it a 2-0 lead on Greg McConnel's power play goal at 16:06.
RGV had a pair of two-man advantages in the third period but couldn't solve Texas goalie Brett Jaeger, who made 32 saves. Wylie Rogers stopped 33 of 35 in the loss.
The Killer Bees return home for games Friday and Saturday at Dodge Arena vs. New Mexico at 7:30 p.m.
