Kickers Partner with Richmond City FC

RICHMOND, VA - (Thursday, April 4, 2013) - The Richmond Kickers are pleased to announce a new partnership that names Richmond City FC the exclusive vendor for adult beverages at Kickers pro games during the 2013 season.

"We are thrilled that Richmond City FC has partnered with us to bring a new and improved fan-centric atmosphere to City Stadium," said Shelley Sowers, Richmond Kickers General Manager. "2013 is gearing up to be our most exciting season yet and we are proud to align with a community-minded club to enhance the Kickers game day experience."

"RCFC is delighted to partner with our local, professional soccer team, the Richmond Kickers, and look forward to being part of their growing operation this season," commented Justin Regan, Richmond City FC President and Manager. "The funds raised will help our mission of supporting local causes and promoting soccer in Richmond."

Established in 1999, Richmond City FC has become one of the largest adult soccer clubs in the Richmond area, currently fielding seven teams playing as members in Central Virginia Soccer Association, SCOR and RISE. RCFC is a not-for-profit organization with proceeds from sales benefiting local charities and outreach programs.

Richmond City FC will bring draft beer trucks featuring Miller Lite, Blue Moon and other season beers to the Loveland Distributing Outdoor Bar, located on the south side of the main concourse at City Stadium. The expansive area will serve as a unique, new gathering place for fans before and during games, offering a variety of food and beverage options and a distinctive vantage point.

Additionally, Papa John's will continue to provide exceptional service and delicious concessions, with RVA Street Foodies, representing Richmond's iconic Food Trucks, providing local favorites such as Boka Truck, Curbside Creations, Estes BarB'Que, Habanero's, Thai Cabin, Soul Ice and King of Pops, among others, serving delicious sandwiches, Thai curry, legendary tacos and all-natural frozen desserts.
