Brockton, Mass. - Celebrate the start of summer vacation this weekend with the Brockton Rox! Join us at Campanelli Stadium for the End of School Summer Bash this Friday, June 22nd, and then head back to the ballpark for Sunday Family Fun Day on June 24th!

On Friday, the Rox take the field at 7:05 p.m. against the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide to kick off the weekend. As part of our End of School Summer Bash, the first 500 kids through the gates receive a free Ice Cream Sundae Cup! Not only that, but kids will have the chance to throw out the first pitch on Friday night and also sit in as the public address announcer for an inning. If you think your son or daughter would love to announce the Rox hitters as they step up to the plate, then this is the night for you! Stop by the guest services booth at Campanelli Stadium between 6:05 and 6:35 p.m. for your chance to win. Of course, don't forget that after the game the Rox are happy to bring you another fantastic fireworks display as part of Friday Night Fireworks, brought to you by Atlas Fireworks.

Following Friday's contest, don't miss out on Sunday Family Fun Day at Campanelli Stadium, as the Rox take on the Pittsfield Suns at 1:05 p.m. Kids can play catch on the field before the game, get their face painted, and then have a Rox player read them a story before the action begins. Of course, you have to check out the newest addition to the Sunday Family Fun Day lineup: Barn Babies! Barn Babies can be found near the Kids Zone from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Whether it's the baby goats, the pot-bellied pig, or the baby bunnies, you'll absolutely love this adorable traveling petting zoo!

After two hours of action packed baseball, stick around after the game as kids can run the bases and get autographs from their favorite Brockton Rox players. Be sure to bring your bathing suits, because after the game, kids can run through the sprinklers on the field! This is your one and only chance to turn Campanelli Stadium into your own personal water park, so ride the heat wave with the Brockton Rox!
