Southaven, MS-Defensive Specialist Khreem Smith of the Memphis Xplorers earned ADT Defensive Player of the Week Honors. Smith helped the Xplorers defeat the Manchester Wolves 83-26 Saturday night at the DeSoto Civic Center

Smith recorded two sacks on Manchester's quarterback Jake Eaton. He added three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. One of those recovered fumbles came in the endzone, which resulted in a Memphis touchdown.

This is second time this season that Smith has won the award. In week 1 against the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings, Smith picked up three sacks, including one safety. This is the third time this season that an Xplorer has taken home ADT Defensive Player of the Week. Dahnel Singfield won the award in week 12.
