Lincoln Haymakers News Release

The Lincoln Haymakers Pro Indoor Football team is excited have Keyuo Craver joining the coaching staff as Special Teams Coordinator and Defensive Backs coach for 2013. Keyuo was a standout defensive back for the Huskers earning All-American honors, First Team All-Big XII, and a finalist for the Thrope Award in 2001. After his Husker career, Craver was a fourth round draft pick of the New Orleans Saints where he played 3 seasons in the National Football League. A career highlight for Craver was a fumble return for a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers during the 2002 season.

Head Coach Dave Brumagen commented on Craver's addition to the coaching staff. "We are very excited to have Keyuo on our staff. With his playing experience he will be a great addition as we look to perform at a high level this season."

Keyuo also played several years in the Canadian Football League with both the Edmonton Eskimos and the Winnepeg Blue Bombers adding to his wealth of professional experience as a lockdown cornerback. In 2005 Keyuo helped lead the Eskimos to a Grey Cup Championship win. Between stints in the CFL, Craver spent two seasons with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League. As a rookie, he led the team in tackles and breakups while being only one of two Rattlers starting all 16 games that season. His tackles and assisted tackles numbers set new records for the Rattlers establishing himself as a top tier corner in the AFL.
