
Keys announce start times for 2006 home schedule

The Frederick Keys, class Single-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles and parent company Comcast-Spectacor have adjusted game times for their 2006 Home Schedule to better the fan experience.
The Keys will open the season at Harry Grove Stadium for eighth time in team history, when they play host to the Lynchburg Hillcats on Thursday, April 6th at 6 PM. The Keys will hold a Ring-giving ceremony for remaining players from the 2005 Carolina League Championship team during the pre-game festivities.
Throughout the month of April, the Keys have moved weekday night-game times ahead an hour to 6 PM to get the best of the early-season sunlight and warmth in Frederick, MD. Beginning May 1st weekday night-games will move back to the regular 7 PM start time.
In April, weekend home games at Harry Grove Stadium will begin at 2 PM. During the first home stand in May, Saturday start times will move to 6:30 PM for the remainder of the season, while Sunday games will keep the same start time until Sunday, June 25th. From June 25th, the following four Sunday home dates (June 25th, July 9th, July 23rd and August 13th) will begin at 6 PM to accommodate post-game Fireworks.
During the 2006 season the Keys will hold several special Day Games for School or Camp groups and Holiday observances. On consecutive days the Keys will play host to the Salem Avalanche Wednesday, April 12th the Keys will host the Salem Avalanche at 11 AM to celebrate Title I Keys For Reading Day presented by the Sylvan Learning Center & CloseCall America. On Thursday, April 13th the Keys will play the Avalanche at 9:30 AM for Senior Day. The Avalanche will be the beneficiary of another daytime start when they play the Keys at 4 PM on Monday, May 29th to help celebrate Memorial Day. On Thursday, July 6th the Keys will take on the Myrtle Beach Pelicans at noon
