Columbus Lions News Release
The familiar faces continue to make their return to Columbus with Kevin Fuller joining the Lions ahead of the 2022 season.
Fuller's last time in Columbus came during the inaugural season of the NAL in 2017, also the Lions first NAL championship appearance. Columbus fell to Jacksonville that year 27-21, the first of three NAL championship game appearances.
In that season with the Lions, Fuller appeared in five games on the defensive side, finishing the season with 12.5 total tackles, one pass breakup and two quarterback hits.
Fuller has also been a member of the West Virginia Roughriders, a team from the Arena Pro Football(APF) league and the American Arena League.
Before his time in Columbus, Fuller was a wide receiver for Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois.
Fuller brings the kind of versatility that the Lions need ahead of the historic 2022 season, the first year of the new NAL Ironman rules. With experience as a wide receiver and linebacker, as well as his 6'6" frame, Fuller will fight right in with the new rules. He is expected to play both wide receiver and linebacker during the 2022 season.
