
Kernels Begin Spring Training Games Today

Cedar Rapids, IA - The 2010 Cedar Rapids Kernels begin their slate of Spring Training games against Augusta (Giants) and continue play through April 4. The Kernels will play seventeen Spring Training games against various Cactus League teams with all games starting at 3:00 pm, central time.
March 18 - Kernels at Augusta (Giants) @ Indian School Park
March 19 - Peoria (Cubs) at Kernels
March 20 - Kernels at Augusta @ Indian School Park
March 21 - Wisconsin (Brewers) at Kernels
March 22 - Kernels at Kane County (A's) @ Papago Park
March 23 - Peoria at Kernels
March 24 - Augusta at Kernels
March 25 - Kernels at Peoria @ Fitch Park
March 26 - Kane County at Kernels
March 27 - Kernels at Peoria @ Fitch Park
March 29 - Augusta at Kernels
March 30 - Kernels at Kane County @ Papago Park
March 31 - Peoria at Kernels
April 1 - Kernels at Peoria @ Fitch Park
April 2 - Kernels at Augusta @ Indian School Park
April 3 - Kane County at Kernels
April 4 - Peoria at Kernels
All home Spring Training games will be played at the Tempe Diablo Complex in Tempe, AZ. Directions to all Spring Training parks can be found at www.mlb.com and selecting the appropriate MB team.
The Kernels are scheduled to break camp on Monday, April 5 and arrive in Cedar Rapids later that day. They open the 2010 MWL regular season vs. Beloit on Thursday, April 8 at 6:35 pm. Season ticket packages and 10-game 'Anytime' coupon books are on sale now at www.kernels.com. Individual game tickets go on sale Monday, March 22 at 10 am in the Kernels Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday.
