Kenny McEntyre Practices with Predators

Orlando, FL - Kenny McEntyre worked out at practice today with the Orlando Predators in preparation for the team's upcoming game against the San Jose SaberCats. The Preds' coaching staff is in the process of activating McEntyre.
Known as "The Glove," McEntyre retired at the end of last season as the only man in Arena Football League history to be named Defensive Player of the Year three times. When asked about coming out of retirement, McEntyre said, "I never say never...I'm still in good shape and feel I can contribute to the team."
According to Coach Bret Munsey, "Kenny is a natural leader and we're confident he can be an asset to the team."
The 1-10 Predators have been plagued with injuries and are making adjustments to fill the voids, including the McEntyre acquisition. The Predators also signed former USF quarterback Matt Grothe today to fill in for injured back-up quarterback Justin Roper.
The Orlando Predators travel to San Jose to take on the SaberCats' number one ranked offense this Friday, June 8. The game kicks off at 10:30 p.m. EDT from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, and will broadcast live at www.OrlandoPredators.com/Live.

In that time, the Predators have advanced to the AFL Playoffs a league-leading 19 consecutive seasons and appeared in the Arena Bowl seven times, winning AFL Championships in 1998 and 2000.
