Kemp Named Reign President

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings, announced today that Justin Kemp has been named President of the Ontario Reign effective immediately.

As President of the Ontario Reign, Justin Kemp will oversee all aspects of the entire operation. "I am certainly honored at the recognition and very proud of how far we've come, but it is also important to remember that this organization's successes have come as a result of the tireless efforts of so many others as well" said Kemp. "We are a team, top to bottom, and will continue to operate as one. I look forward to continuing to grow the Ontario Reign into something the entire community takes pride in both on and off the ice."

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a degree in Sport Management, Kemp began his career with the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes in 2000 as a Corporate Account Executive. After three seasons in Phoenix, he joined the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim as an Advertising Sales Manager selling corporate partnerships for the Ducks and Arrowhead Pond before joining the Long Beach Ice Dogs of the ECHL. As Vice President of Business Development with the Ice Dogs, he sold corporate partnerships, managed the team's public relations and transitioned the team through an ownership change in 2006. In 2007 he was named Executive Vice President of Business Operations for the Ontario Reign, overseeing all aspects of the business operation, including ticket sales, PR and community relations, finance, as well as assisting in corporate partnership and marketing efforts for the new team.

Kemp grew up in the Los Angeles area and currently resides in Rancho Cucamonga.
