Erie, Pennsylvania, Tuesday, March 19 - The Erie BayHawks have re-acquired center Keith Benson following his stint in the Philippines.
Benson (6-11, 230, Oakland) started the season with Erie and played in 17 games before departing for the Philippines. With the BayHawks, he averaged 10.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game to go along with 1.5 blocks.
In the Philippines, Benson played for the Talk N Text Tropang Texters and averaged 23.6 points, 15.8 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game in five appearances.
To make room for Benson on the roster, the BayHawks placed Wesley Witherspoon on the inactive list. Benson will join the team in time for tonight's game at Springfield.
