NASHVILLE (Oct. 13, 2004) – The Nashville Kats will add another key piece to their 2005 roster puzzle when they make the first selection in the Arena Football League's Player Dispersal Draft on Thursday. The draft, which will be held on Thursday at noon CT, will give all seventeen AFL teams the opportunity to add players from the rosters of the Carolina Cobras, Detroit Fury and Indiana Firebirds – all franchises that have been terminated. There are 29 total players available, including 2004 Rookie of the Year QB ADRIAN MC PHERSON, former Offensive Player of the Year MIKE HORACEK and former All-Rookie WR/LB ANDY MC CULLOUGH.

Nashville holds the first pick in the dispersal draft, as well as the 14th and 17th overall selections. The dispersal draft will be conducted via telephone conference and consists of a maximum of two rounds or until all teams in a round pass.
