
Kansas City NWSL Announces Preseason Schedule

KANSAS CITY - Kansas City NWSL kicks off its final month of preseason with the announcement of four March friendly matches to help prepare for the upcoming 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup, slated to kickoff Friday, April 9.
Kansas City opened preseason training Feb. 1 in Kansas City, then traveled to Port. St. Lucie, Fla., for two weeks of warm-weather training. After playing a scrimmage against local side Orlando FC Royals on Saturday, Feb. 24, the team opens its preseason friendly schedule against the Orlando Pride on Wednesday, March 3.
The team returns to Kansas City with three more friendlies scheduled against the University of Kansas (March 16), Kansas State University (March 20) and University of Oklahoma (March 31).
All preseason friendlies will be closed-door. Fans can follow the action on Kansas City's Twitter (@KCWoSo). Video highlights and pictures will be made available to media following each match.
Kansas City NWSL opens its inaugural season with the Challenge Cup, beginning Friday, April 9. The 2021 regular season is set to begin the weekend of May 15. Season ticket deposits are now being accepted at KCWoSo.com.
