Kansas City Current to Host Semifinal Watch Party at KC Live Block on Sunday

KANSAS CITY - The Kansas City Current continue the club's first-ever run in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) playoffs on Sunday. Fans are invited to watch the historic match at the team's official watch party, presented by Boulevard Brewing Co., at KC Live! Block at Power & Light on the videoboard.

In addition to the game, fans can purchase team gear from the Teal Mobile and enjoy a $3 Teal Rising Pilsner drink special from Johnny's Tavern, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Kansas City Current match kicks off at 6:30 p.m. CT.

The Current advanced in the quarterfinals in dramatic fashion with a 2-1 win over the Houston Dash. Defender Kate Del Fava scored her first-ever professional goal, the latest goal ever scored in an NWSL game, to bring Kansas City the win. Next, the Current travel to Seattle to take on top seed OL Reign.
