July 15, 2018 - Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL)
Geneva Red Wings News Release
GENEVA: There is a new sign this season that sits high above the outfield at McDonough Park. It is the Kanga Roof sign and giant mitt. If a Wings player hits the mitt on the Kanga Roof sign, the company will give away $1,000 to one lucky fan.
On June 22, 2018, during Senator Pam Helming Night at the Geneva Red Wings game versus the Newark Pilots, Wings Infielder Nick Carnevale was up to bat and hit the Kanga Roof sign in the outfield of McDonough Park. On July 14, all those in attendance from June 22 with their tickets in hand anxiously awaited the drawing of the lucky ticket. Nick Carnevale randomly drew the winning ticket. The winner of the $1,000 Kanga Roof giveaway was Nicole Graham from Rochester. Our lucky winner is the sister of the Newark Pilots infielder Justin Graham who was in attendance for the games rooting on her brother.
Lakeside Roofing & Contracting, Home of Kanga Roof, is a locally owned roofing company based out of Lyons, NY that has been serving the Finger Lakes Region since 1999.
The Geneva Red Wings is currently in their third season as part of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League at McDonough Park.
