GENEVA, Ill. - The Kane County Cougars were recognized this week at the Baseball Winter Meetings in Nashville, Tennessee as the Cougars organization became the first Class-A franchise in Minor League Baseball history to reach 11 million fans in club history. The Cougars welcomed more than 400,000 fans to Fifth Third Bank Ballpark in the organization's 25th silver anniversary season in 2015, eclipsing the 400,000 fan mark for the 21st time in 25 seasons. This season's attendance total heavily contributed to a Midwest League record-setting attendance figure of more than 4.2 million fans at games leaguewide in 2015.

Just last month, the Cougars announced a re-branded team and organizational identity with a new primary logo and team colors. Catered event group outings, season tickets and ticket packages starting at five games, including a five-game "pick your own" plan, are currently on sale and can be ordered by calling (630) 232-8811.

Also on sale now are the Cougars' popular Christmas Packs. For $89, fans can purchase a Christmas Pack that includes 4 box seat ticket vouchers for any 2016 game, 1 general lot parking pass and $40 in Cougars Cash - valid for single-game tickets, food, parking and souvenirs. Buyers also receive an additional $20 in Cougars Cash and 2 reserved seat ticket vouchers for Opening Night on April 7. The package can be ordered online at kccougars.com or by calling (630) 232-8811.

The Kane County Cougars, Class-A Major League affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, have been at the forefront of family-friendly entertainment since 1991. In 2013, the franchise became the first Class-A team in Minor League Baseball history to welcome 10 million fans. More than 130 former Cougars have reached the Major Leagues including Miguel Cabrera, Adrian Gonzalez and Kyle Schwarber. Opening Night at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark will take place on Thursday evening, April 7, 2016 against Clinton.
