
Kalamazoo Announces Schedule for Jamestown Series

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, announce the playoff schedule for their second round matchup against the Jamestown Ironmen. This will be a best-of-five series, with Kalamazoo coming in as the third seed in the NAHL North and Jamestown holding the second seed.
As the higher seed, Jamestown earned a bye, and this will be their first series of the postseason. Kalamazoo already has a series victory, as they swept the Springfield Jr. Blues in two games.
The first game between these two teams will take place on Friday, April 12th, at 7 p.m. EST. This contest will take place at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena in Jamestown, NY.
The second game will also happen in Jamestown, and it will take place on Saturday, April 13th. This time, the puck will drop at 5 p.m. EST.
For the third game of the series, the teams will travel to Kalamazoo, MI. This game will take place at 7 p.m. EST at the Borgess Health Rink at Wings West.
If necessary, the fourth game will be in Kalamazoo and the fifth game will be in Jamestown. The fourth game would be on Thursday, April 18th, at 7 p.m. EST, and the fifth game would be on Sunday, April 21st, at 5 p.m. EST.
On the season, these two clubs have faced off eight times. Although all of the contests have been close, the Ironmen got the better of the Jr. K-Wings with a 6-1-1 record. The Jr. K-Wings, on the other hand, have a record of 2-2-4 against the Ironmen. Five of the eight contests went to either overtime or a shootout.
The winner of this series will face the winner of the Soo-Port Huron series for the right to represent the NAHL North in Frisco, TX in the battle for the Robertson Cup.
