
Kailen Sheridan Named to Canada Roster

San Diego Wave FC goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan has been named to the Canada Women's National Team roster for the final international friendlies in 2023.
Canada will host the Matildas at Starlight Stadium in Victoria on Friday, Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. PT before closing out the year at BC Place in Vancouver on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 7:00 p.m. PT.
On the international level, Sheridan has made 41 appearances (36 starts) for Canada, while earning 19 clean sheets.
Sheridan, 28, played in 20 matches (20 starts) for the Wave in 2023 and finished the regular-season with a career-high and league-leading nine clean sheets. Sheridan joined the Wave ahead of the club's inaugural season in 2022, where she earned 2022 NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year.
