K-Dubb Becomes Second af2 Player with 900 Points

(North Little Rock, AR) - (North Little Rock, AR) - Kevin Williams became the second player in af2 history to reach 900 points in his career when the receiver/linebacker caught a touchdown pass from Davon Vinson to start the second quarter in the win over Oklahoma City at Allstate Field at Alltel Arena.

Williams entered the game with 898 in his career that started in 2001. The touchdown catch in the second quarter gave him 904 points and he joined Florida receiver Magic Benton as the only two players with more than 900 points.

The former UAPB standout caught another touchdown pass from Vinson in the fourth quarter to up his total to 910. Williams played nearly every play on both sides of the ball for Arkansas in a 51-39 victory over Oklahoma City and added 5.0 tackles and a pass breakup on defense. Williams has hauled in 38 catches for 395 yards and 13 touchdowns on the 2007 season.

The Twisters travel to Everett, Washington to play Everett on Saturday, June 23rd. The game will kickoff at 9:30pm central time due to the game being playing in the Pacific Northwest.
