
Justin Bernhardt Activated for Bees

Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees News Release
The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, proud affiliates of the Florida Panthers and San Antonio Rampage, announced on Wednesday that forward Justin Bernhardt has been activated from the injured reserve list. In addition the Bees placed defenseman Tim Billingsley on team suspension, effective immediately.
Bernhardt was assigned to the Killer Bees by the Florida Panthers at the start of the season and started the year on the injured reserve list.
The center spent the last two seasons with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL where he scored 11 goals and registered 15 assists in 76 games over two seasons. Bernhardt also played for the San Antonio Rampage during the 2009-10 season picking up one goal and two assists in 14 games. Bernhardt will wear number three while with the Bees.
Billingsley has elected to return to Canada to pursue university studies.
