
Juniors Win Streak Ends in Bathurst

The Montreal Junior's five game winning streak came to a halt with a 3-1 loss to the host Acadie-Bathurst Titan Wednesday night at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre.
The home team Titan scored three unanswered goals to open the game and never looked back. Jonathan Lessard, Gabriel Levesque and David Gilbert all scored for Acadie-Bathurst. Montreal's lone goal was scored by Raphael Pouliot.
J-F Berube took the loss for Montreal while facing 25 shots from the Titan. Olivier Roy was the busier of the two on this evening, as he turned aside 34 of 35 shots fired his way by the Juniors to preserve the win.
NOTES: Montreal continues it's Maritime swing with a game tomorrow night in Charlottetown and then Saturday and Sunday in Sydney, N.S. Montreal netminder J-F Berube was selected the third star of the week in the QMJHL and the outstanding goaltender in the CHL .
