
Juniors Lose in Shootout to Gatineau

The Montreal Juniors fell to the Gatineau Olympiques in an overtime shootout Wednesday night at the Centre Robert-Guertin in Gatineau, Quebec before 2599 fans.
Montreal got goals from Philippe Levebvre and Dylan Anderson. Gatineau countered with goals from Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Christian Ouellett, who sent the game into overtime with less than a minute to play.
Overtime saw nothing decided as the teams went to a shootout, where Gatineau's first and third shooters beat JF Berube for the win.
JF Berube and his counterpart from Gatineau, Maxime Clermont, shared the rarity of facing and turning aside the same number of shots - 23 of 25 during regulation and overtime.
NOTES: Montreal returns for its final game before the Christmas break with a Friday evening game vs the Lewiston Maineiacs at the Verdun Auditorium at 7:05pm. Louis Leblanc was named as a member of the Canadian U-20 Team that will compete for the World Junior Championship in Buffalo, NY beginning December 26, 2010.
