Jr. Blues Head to Soo

The Jr. Blues spent last weekend recharging during a much needed weekend off as they prepare for the last 4 games of the season. During the week off, the coaches gave the player four days off to go home and then it was back to the ice for three days of practice. On Saturday, the team had a Skate with the Jr. Blues for their season ticket holders and sponsors before they went and participated in the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Jr. Blues Travel to the Soo

Play 1st place Eagles Fri and Sat

The Jr. Blues travel to Soo, Michigan this weekend to take on the Soo Eagles. The Eagles are currently in 1st place in the North Division. With a win or Jamestown loss this weekend, the Eagles will clinch 1st place for the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the Jr. Blues are on the outside looking in at the playoff picture. Janesville and Port Huron each picked up 2 wins last weekend, putting them ahead of the Jr. Blues. The Jr. Blues now trail Janesville by 2 points and Port Huron by 6. However, the Jets will face Port Huron 3 times over the next week.

The last time the Eagles and the Jr. Blues met, the teams skated away with a weekend split. The Jr. Blues defeated the Eagles 7-1 Friday night before dropping a 6-5 decision on Saturday night.

Puck drops at 6:30 pm CST Friday and Saturday night .

Jr. Blues participate in Parade

Walk in St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Jr. Blues celebrated the weekend off by walking in the Springfield St. Patrick's Day parade. The team could be found walking or riding in a truck handing out Jr. Blues stickers and tattoos.

The parade had over 100 entrants and took place in downtown Springfield around the old capital building.

Jr. Blues Prepare for Final Home Games

Jr. Blues to honor Billet Families and Aging-out Players

Friday night, March 29th, the Jr. Blues will honor all their billet families during a special pre-game ceremony on Memorial SportsCare night. The team will also be auctioning off the game worn jerseys during intermissions. During each period, the Jr. Blues will be giving away hoodies and other Jr. Blues items as a part of Fan Appreciation Weekend.

Saturday night, March 30th, the Jr. Blues will honor all aging out players during a special pre-game ceremony. Also, the team will be auctioning off jerseys during the intermissions ending with a skate with the Jr. Blues after the game.

Jr. Blues Announce Pre-Draft Camp

Camp to be held in Springfield, IL

The Jr. Blues have announced they will be hosting their 2013 Pre-Draft Camp in Springfield, IL May 24-26. This will be the only Open Camp the Jr. Blues will be holding this season.

The Jr. Blues Main Camp will be held in mid July. This camp will be invite only.
