
Jr. Blues Fall to Chill

The Jr. Blues fell to the Coulee Region Chill in the first game of the weekend set by the score of 5-3.
The Jr. Blues first jumped out to the lead by scoring three first period goals. The first was a Drew Richter goal off assists from Sam Craggs and Matt Long. The second, Kyle Meeh was able to snipe one in off assists Josh Bell and Luke Radetic. Joey Lupo then pushed the lead to 3-0 when he found the back of the net off assists from Anthony Tzveyn and Brennan Blaszczak. Coulee Region scored one to give the game a score of 3-1 at the end of the first period.
Coulee Region scored twice in the second period to send the game into the third tied 3-3. They scored twice in the third, once with an empty net, to give the score its final of 5-2.
Tommy Nappier had 37 saves in the loss.
The same two teams play again tomorrow night for the second and final game of the weekend set.
