
Jr. Blues Fall to Chill

The Jr. Blues fall to the Coulee Region Chill in their first game of the weekend set on the road by the score of 4-2.
After a scoreless first period, the Jr. Blues took the first lead with a goal from Drew Richter off an assist from Isaac Ceh at the 00:51 mark in the second period. The Chill would get a goal to tie the game at 1-1 at the end of the second period. The Chill then scored back-to-back goals in third to claim a 3-1 lead at the 10:23 mark of the third period. Trevor Stone cut into the lead by finding the back of the net off an assist from Sam Craggs at the 13:17 mark of the third period to make the score 3-2. Coulee would score a little over a minute later to bring the score to 4-2, which would end up being the final.
Tommy Nappier had 33 saves in the loss.
Trevor Stone broke the record for the most games played as a Jr. Blues player by playing in his 172nd game.
The same two teams play again tomorrow night.
