Maikel Jova continued his hot streak through the first 14 games of the season in route to being named the Golden Baseball League Player of the Week.
Jova put up astounding numbers last week going 15-28, which is a .536 batting average, and leading the league in hits, runs scored, RBIs, and Homeruns. He had 15 hits, 10 runs scored, 13 RBIs, and 3 Homeruns.
Jova is not the only player on the Yuma Scorpions that is going through an offensive tirade. Jeremy Cleveland also had an impressive week hitting quite well behind Jova.
