The Flyers jumped out to a huge lead Tuesday night in Fullerton and never let up.

David Bacani and Patrick Breen led the way for the Flyers.

Bacani hit for the cycle and was 4-5 with six RBI and three runs scored.

Breen went 4-6 with three home runs and five RBI.

Mark Okano got things started in the bottom of the first with a single before Bacani opened the scoring with an RBI single.

Jermy Acey singled off the right field wall to put runners on the corners with no outs. Brian Rios cashed in Bacani on a fielders choice setting the stage for Patrick Breen. Breen then hit the first home run in Fullerton of the season, blasting a two run shot to right field.

The Flyers continued to pester the Scorpions as Orange County loaded the bases before Mark Okano made use of his second at bat in the inning, driving in two. Breen added his second homer of the game, driving another two run shot to right center.

Orange County ke pt up the assault throughout the game finishing the game with 24 runs, 19 of those earned.

Matt Merricks picked up the win, going five solid innings only allowing one hit and no runs. He improves to 2-0 on the year.

The loss goes to Jorge Perez who lasted just 2.1 innings allowing 10 hits and 10 runs all earned.

The two teams will meet again Wednesday night at Goodwin Field at 7:05.
