Philadelphia Soul News Release

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia Soul Co-Majority Owner Jon Bon Jovi and designer Kenneth Cole have joined forces to raise money and awareness to break the cycle of homelessness. Together they have already raised in excess of $1 million for three special charities including the international non-profit organization Habitat for Humanity, the national non-profit organization HELP USA and the Philadelphia Soul Charitable Foundation. They will continue this effort with an online auction on ebay.

The online auction is being conducted on www.ebay.com/rsvptohelp from February 5 - February 15 and features 26 unique experiences including a special edition Kenneth Cole/Bon Jovi Saturn OUTLOOK. All of the proceeds from the event and online auction directly benefit the three selected charities. A portion of the funds raised through the sales of R.S.V.P., the new Kenneth Cole men's fragrance and the sales of limited-edition collection of Kenneth Cole/Jon Bon Jovi co-designed jackets, both of which are now available, benefit the charities as well

Their effort began on Thursday, January 25, 2007 when Bon Jovi joined with Cole to host "R.S.V.P. to HELP", a fundraiser held at the Tribeca Rooftop in New York City.

"We are thrilled with the success of that evening and the number of people that turned out in support of three organizations who, together, bring attention to the plight of the homeless and disadvantaged in our country," says Director of Philadelphia Soul Charitable Foundation, Mimi Box. "We certainly thank Jon Bon Jovi and Kenneth Cole for, not just lending their voices, but leading this effort."

Highlights of the evening included a live and silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind luxury items. For instance, a trip to South Africa with Habitat for Humanity to build houses with Desmond Tutu during the Jimmy Carter Work Project 2007, a custom motorcycle courtesy of Barb's Harley Davidson and an exclusive fragrance produced by Kenneth Cole made only for the winning bid. In addition to the live and silent auction items, Cole accepted bids at $10,000 apiece for 10 lucky guests to accompany Bon Jovi and surprise guest Richie Sambora on stage as they performed Wanted Dead or Alive.

With over 500 guests in attendance, among them celebrities and VIPs, an excess of $1 million was raised in pledges and auctions to benefit the charities, while raising awareness of the plight of those caught in the cycle of poverty and homelessness.
