JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Johnstown Tomahawks lost a hard fought game at the War Memorial on Saturday night as the Soo Eagles won 4-3. The Eagles took the series 2-1 against the Tomahawks as Face-Off-Against Cancer Weekend came to a close.

The Eagles bounced right back, scoring two goals in a span of 59 seconds to give themselves a 2-1 lead early in the first. Jacob McDowell and Denver Pierce scored respectively for the Eagles. Ryan Urso added to the Eagles' lead as he converted on the power play to extend the score to 3-1 at the end of the first.
Joe Drabin added two goals of his own in the second period to tie the game at three after two periods.
Play remained even for most of the third period, until Mike Sabatini's shot slid underneath Tomahawks goalie Alex Okicki at 14:45 of the period, securing a 4-3 win for the visiting Eagles.
The Tomahawks are back at the War Memorial on Nov. 2-3 to start the series against the Port Huron Fighting Falcons. Both games are part of Kids Weekend, presented by Allied Milk, and promotions include a team poster giveaway and a post-game skate with the Tomahawks following Sunday's game.
