Los Angeles Wildcats News Release
The Los Angeles Wildcats traded defensive lineman Anthony Johnson to the DC Defenders on Friday for defensive back Bradley Sylve.
Johnson was placed on Reserve/Left squad earlier this week by LA, after he played in the Wildcats' 37-17 loss at Houston on Feb. 8. He recorded two tackles against the Roughnecks.
Sylve had an interception return for a touchdown in DC's 31-19 win over Seattle on Feb. 8 at Audi Field.
Both players are eligible to play in Week 2. The Defenders host the New York Guardians on Saturday (2 p.m. ET, ABC), and the Wildcats have their home opener on Sunday (3 p.m. ET, ABC) against the Dallas Renegades.
